ANCIET MAYAN TRAILS
Journey through the heart of the Mayan world.
Explore the Mayan world.
Adventure, connection with mother nature, and deepening into the local culture; a journey across the mayan land.
We begin an incredible day surrounded by nature!
The perfect combination of history, adventure, wildlife, gastronomy, and culture.
The ancient Mayan city of Coba was once an important metropolis in the northeastern Yucatán. Huge pyramids, plazas, palaces, and monuments remained hidden beneath the jungle for more than 1000 years, only recently uncovered by archaeologists. The ruins of Coba provide an amazing setting to discover the Maya civilization and the local wildlife, where dense vegetation dominates the scenery, partially excavated buildings emerge among vines and roots, tropical birds are everywhere, and the large central area is explored by bicycle.
Afterwards, we continue to Chichén Itzá, once a kingdom so extraordinary that its remains still amaze the world today as one of the 7 Wonders. Rising proudly through the centuries, Chichén Itzá remains one of the greatest symbols of the Mayan civilization.
Its mystical energy is still present in every stone, every structure, and every carved detail. Everywhere you look, the city of Chichén Itzá inspires admiration and respect.
This tour is a true journey through Yucatecan history. Along the way, you will experience the fusion and evolution of cultures. When the Spanish and the Maya combined their ingredients and culinary traditions, they created what is now known as modern Yucatecan cuisine. It is an unforgettable experience for all your senses!
And we finish at a Mexican restaurant.
